OMNI ROYAL ORLEANS
621 St. Louis, New Orleans, LA 70140

Omni Royal Orleans Hotel
August, 2006--Located perfectly in the French Quarter, this hotel was 1st Class all the way.  The staff was friendly and accomodating. The rooms were spotless with the nice touch of your bed turned down at night with a chocolate mint on your pillow.  Centrally located to Bourbon Street, the River Walk and Downtown.  New Orleans is open and welcoming tourist back to their great city.  Katrina did not affect the French Quarter District or the Downtown area much at all.  There is some construction work going on there, but does not affect the walking traffic.
THE WYNN HOTEL
3131 Las Vegas Blvd. South
Las Vegas, NV 89109
There is just not enough space here to write about this hotel.  We stayed 2 nights and 3 days and were treated like Royalty.  We stayed in a Resort Room, which was very spacious and luxurious.  The staff at the Wynn were very attentive, friendly and extremely professional.  The food was absolutely the best in Vegas.  You have to try the Buffet at the Wynn.  It was unbelievable!  Although the casino was not as large as most in Vegas, we felt it was just fine for our needs and entertainment.  The show, Le Reve, was extremely entertaining and a must see.

I lost a box of Ethel M Chocolates in the Casino that I had purchased and one of the staff found it and turned it in to the lost and found.  I thought they were gone, and was thrilled to find honesty and integrity in the staff.

The next time you are in Vegas, you must plan on staying at the Wynn!
GOLDEN CROWN PARADISE
Puerto Vallarta, Mexico
An All Inclusive Deluxe Ocean Front Resort located in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.  We were greeted with a cold damp towel that was soaked with Rose Water and a nice cool tropical drink.  What a way to start a vacation!  Every room has an ocean view and a private balcony. This is an adult only resort, however they do have a family resort right next door called Crown Paradise.  The food was wonderful, the staff friendly and fun.  I WOULD RECOMMEND this resort!
BUENA VISTA PALACE
Disney World
October, 2006--What a beautiful resort!  The rooms were spacious with a private balcony overlooking Walt Disney World where we watched the fireworks go off at 9:00pm everynight. The service and staff were professional and friendly.  We were here for 3 days for a Travel Trade show and the only negative comment I have, was that most of the hotels resturants were not open during the day for lunch.  It really posed a problem when you have over 1000 people attending a conference and no where to eat.  We were able to get a hamburger at the pool grill, but it was somewhat expensive.  Otherwise we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this facility for a family vacation.  Very close to Disney World with free shuttle.

HOLIDAY INN SELECT
811 North 9th Street, St. Louis, MO
August, 2006--This hotel is in Downtown St. Louis and within walking distance of the famous Gateway Arch.  It has Free high speed wireless internet access in the rooms and the signal was always very strong.  They have a Garden Court Cafe and The 9th Street Bar and Grille.  The rooms were cleaned daily and the bed very comfortable.  They were conviently located next to the America Center and a great value for the price.  The staff were friendly and accomodating.  It was an enjoyable stay and I WOULD RECOMMEND this hotel.

AQUA ISLAND COLONY HOTEL
Honolulu, HI
We visited the Aqua Island Colony Hotel in Honolulu, HI in March, 2007. It was very difficult to find the entrance to this condominium complex and we had to call the hotel to locate the entrance.  We stayed on the 18th floor which had a great view of the river and golf course.  The hotel is old and in need of updating, but over all the stay was pleasant, the staff friendly and within walking distance of Waikiki Beach.
Marriott Courtyard
300 4th St. North, St. Petersburg, FL
Over the years we have stayed at many Marriott Courtyards and have been ever so impressed.  HOWEVER....this particular one, was very disappointing.  We stayed 2 nights and Our room for 4 people was very small; Valet parking was $10 per night and the on our last night we had to park our own car and retrieve it the next day and still charged $10; Breakfast Buffet was nice, but grossly understaffed.  2 employees to handle the entire area. With all the one way strees, this location was very difficult to find. On our last night there, I was afraid to walk in the front door at 11:00pm, because of the obvious, shall we say, night street workers hanging out right outside the lobby.  A party was going on down the hall from our room and even after several calls to the front desk, continued until early morning.  I would NOT recommend this particular Marriott Courtyard!
Wingate Inn
4681 Lenoir Ave So.
Jacksonville, FL
What a nice place!!  I just recently became a Wingate Inn Specialist and decided to check them out myself, by staying at this one in Jacksonville, Florida for 4 nights.  What a pleasant experience.  Clean rooms and common areas, grounds beautifully maintained, friendly staff, very nice continental style breakfast with hot dishes, nice pool area, complimentary happy hour with snacks, wine, beer and punch, Cracker Barrell across the street, shuttle bus to airport, QUEEN size beds.  If this is an indication of the Wingate Inn's across the country, I would HIGHLY recommend staying.  They cater to the business traveler, but families are welcome too!
